Don R. Gilman, P.E.
Assistant Research Engineer, Energy Systems Laboratory, Texas A&M University System
Mr. Gilman will serve as the Lead PI on this project. He will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of all the project’s modules as well as preparing the final report. He will be the liaison to all parties including Whyville. Mr. Gilman has been a published game developer since 1985 and project manager since 1989. Since 1990 he has been President of Advanced Gaming Systems[1], a provider of simulation software for military customers around the world, as well as “lighter” versions for entertainment purposes. Mr. Gilman holds one of the first licenses as a Software Engineer in the United States.
Joseph Martinez, M.S.
Assistant Research Engineer, Energy Systems Laboratory, Texas A&M University System
Mr. Martinez will be conducting the school energy assessments and visits for the Pilot. He will provide assistance in the design and fabrication of the Kit and provide valuable feedback on how the students responded to the School Visit Module. Mr. Martinez is the Project Engineer for the Alamo Community College District in San Antonio and has also been the Project Engineer for several Federal facilities around the United States.
Vinod Srinivasan, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor, Department of Visualization, College of Architecture, Texas A&M University
Dr. Srinivasan will be responsible for the assessments as well as visualization components and serious games in later Phases.
